The Uni days-07

Howdy folks?

Hope you're all doing good.

I've just come to my room through the corridor of my Uni hostel which means....at least 5 non-telugoos exchanging the noob telugu phrases taught by me and me replying in the local language taught by them! Seems fun? It obviously is!

One thing that I've learnt spending an year in my new uni is that observational learning happens involuntarily too... it's because the alpha female protagonist referring to... may be...Geet from Jab we met, has substantially transformed to Spandana from Racegurram😂

Let me start the blog by sharing a really cringey experience which I've had which would obviously, for sure, make you'll laugh... chalo atleast would make you'll smile yaaar! As people around don't understand telugu in my Uni, Snehal and I have become 'extremely' outspoken. Once we've gone to a pretty big shop nearby to shop something. It happened that the bhaiyya who was showing us things was way too sluggish.Asalee hyderabad vallam, aagutaaya words atlunte...Snehal and I just starting saying something because he was too lazy yaar and immediately he turned back and said "meeku telugu ocha?"(do you guys know telugu aise)😑Chup chaap we took what we wanted and left the place phew!!! (Guysss note...it was in a very comic way and we're both omegas in traits so we are not into commenting and stuff! Alright??? Alright!)

I'll tell you something more, Snehal and I were in a 10 hour journey in a bus to college. So the bus stops around 10pm for dinner and we got down. Then we spotted a very famous telugu content creater(who actually does good quality videos unlike random useless videos). None of us knew his name😅but we knew that he was very famous. Ab jab autograph ka zamaana chala gaya, we were videocalling Srikanth just in case he knows the guy's name to take a picture or something. But where will the inbuilt hyderabadi go?😅We were like selfie apan ko deneka, leneka nahi😂and just went back as if nothing happened.

So today, I, along with my friend, was just taking a stroll in the breezy sunsaan lanes of my Uni which are,as always devoid of any kind of annoying atmosphere, but always flaunting their ethereal beauty, peace and serenity. We were enjoying it until I saw a girl, barely of one meter in height riding a unicorn bike brooo! Both of us were utterly dumbfounded.I don't know if you guys understand this feeling, but if you're a person like me who has got a license like some half a decade ago but still didn't overcome the incompetency of perfect driving without breaking the headlights or the bumpers, it's always a flabbergasted sight!(Is the disbelief in my tone heard?)

Abhi ye suniye,I mean padhiye.... Once Snehal and I were returning to hostel from a 2 hour fieldwork. Surya (as we call the sun) was too fierce and it was blistering that day. So we just stopped by a roadside fruit shop to have coconut water so that the 'Aata majhi satakli' kinda state just comes to equilibrium. But...blog saati content paije tar te nahi honar na! There was someone sitting in the middle of the shop and I, as the female protagonist of the entire scenario went straight up to that person and asked "Uncle ye coconut kitne ka hein?" To which he was silent. Another person from behind stepped in and referred him to be the owner and answered...But this is not done guys, keep reading... When Snehal and I were taking, suddenly the first person asked us in english as to which state we belong. Panic button on! We replied in an extremely soft tone "from Telangana". Then he asked "PG or PhD?".We replied to it too. Then he was like I'm Dr. X,a professor from my university...I was like okay.... then he told that he's from department from Economics(same department!)! Khatam Tata Bye bye😑was the scene. But the innate Geet in me was just overjoyed by the word economics and with soo much enthusiasm I've told "Oh sir! I'm also from the same department"😑To which, he called me near and asked half a dozen questions regarding my thesis work😶You guys are laughing right?? 😑 But see, the goodness of that professor, he was too kind as he spoke many good things about his telugu wards in his college told me to contact them etc etc. When I explained this scene to my dear friend in college on the same day, you should see their reaction... itna hase baabaaa😑

Moral of the blog? I think too many morals in today's blog haha! Why don't you guys let me know in the comment section regarding how the blog is, what you liked in it, what you didn't like, where was it relatable to you, grammatical errors (goodness!), what would you like to read more etc.

I've actually thought about including one good thing to imbibe in our daily routine in the blog. So I've recently read that putting mobile phones on the tables beside the beds is a big no no, as it has too many adversities. Hence, I request all the dear readers of mine, because of whom this blog has progressed to a three digit reader count (Yayyyy! The number might seem small, but it's a huge thing for me), to follow this chota change.

Until the next blog comes,

Stay happy, Stay healthy.

Sharwani.
