College blog-02!
Hello everyone
How's your day today!?
I was craving for some good chocolate cake today;hence I got one and sat down talking to a very good friend of mine on phone and to write about a new encounter of situations which I had, not very long ago.
It was 12-04-2022! A day to happily look back on! A gob of new things which I never experienced, happened to me!I'll just call it my nascent adventurous day...
I'll begin....we initially had a plan of having a field visit from our college which as usual failed as we were not so responsible of arranging things properly(sach bol deti hu yaar😶...) Ammu(My alluring roommate✨) and I were not at all happy with this. Like the warriors who prep for the battle, exhibiting the valour and leaving some behind on the way,we headed to our college campus at 9:15 am(lol! Just imagine) On that day,our parallel batch guys went to another visit, the reason why our visit got cancelled!(absurd kada!?)So we went to our professor to ask about this.Guess what happened😐....we got the same reply! Gathering all the courage and longing to take it to another higher step, I called our associate professor to ask about it (It's an arduous task man!) Sir kindly said that he'll come to college in 30 minutes and talk to us,I was flabbergasted! Sir came, asked the reason and told that he'll take us by 11am (Wohooo! on one side and the scorching heat on the other) I felt good. All our batchmates then came to college and gathered by 10:45am.
So we were all geared up after our Raju uncle changed to the second gear in the college bus! We firstly went to Floriculture Research Station and then to Vegetable Research Station in Rajendranagar. I happily shot few cameos of my batchmates to turn them into a cherishable video ❤️(here's the link--https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa_6ENiZmFw) We learnt a lot from this visit despite troubles like the glucose sipping sun, never ending thirst etc,we returned to our college. After a little bit of stretching and patting our backs,Ammu and I stepped into our room and saw that our roommate wasn't well! She was very weary and could not stand still! (She was troubling with a stomach disorder from the previous night).Ammu and I panicked, called for our college ambulance and went to the primary health centre of agriculture college. They started giving her glucose and stuff and told that it'll take about 2 hours...I forgot to tell that in the morning we had wada for breakfast in our college mess and ammu and I barely ate 2 of them.. Reasons-1)as we were in the rage of going to college😎 2)who eats wada for breakfast bro!?😵....and then we went to our trip, skipped our lunch and then immediately rushed to the hospital. After looking at our watches, we thought that we'll be alright till the treatment is done (till 5pm) with butterflies in our stomach.
Here comes an add on,as soon as one glucose bottle is emptied, my friend started getting tremors and our trepidation crossed the meter!😬 The doctor told us to take her to another big hospital.... Now imagine! Ammu,I along with my friend in tremors went to another hospital in an ambulance! The sound of the siren was just above my head.. For a moment, I felt unusual, dizzy. After a long way of 15 minutes, arrived our hospital. My friend was in the emergency ward for treatment and the doctor has advised for some tests... Ammu and I went to the reception to pay for it. We felt like adults when it comes to the responsibilities and like youth when it comes to our bank balances😢(haha! It was over 7k). We telephoned to Ammu's dad and asked him to send some money and finally paid the bill!! (Phew!)
After heaving a sign of relief, we noticed that both of us (Ammu and I) are fasting for no reason! Then we dashed out of the hospital in search of a hotel! How do you feel if you find a gallon of ice cold water when lost in a desert!? I felt the same when I found a pure vegetarian restaurant amidst all the other ones😋. But....we had not washed our hands since morning and thought that the hotel wouldn't have a handwash inside (we've been in the fields with mud and the hospital with blood) So we were again in a search of a medical shop to buy a handwash... Believe me or not! We couldn't find a single shop and we had to look for it for about 20 minutes😑!!! After buying it, we returned to the restaurant walking back for 20 minutes only to find a handwash in the hotel (whom do we blame now!?)!!! I'd say that we had the most sumptuous and the only meal of the day,a big masala dosa!! The cold water bottle felt like ambrosia! We devoured it and sprinted to the hospital again. The doctor told my friend to get admitted for 2 days( which gave us a mini heart attack because she was alright by then but doctors were insisting to get admitted...if you know, you know🤷!) We anyway denied it and called our college ambulance driver (Sreedhar anna was very kind to us!) at 8:30pm and went back to our hostel! We have this rule of returning back to the hostel by 6pm or else you'll be locked out of the hostel gate, but our professor was kind enough to ensure that we three reached safely to college! Then we just collapsed to sleep and woke up next morning like nothing happened.🌞
And that's a wrap to this experience which revolved between a hospital, hotel and a hostel(haha!) I felt proud to call our faculty in the morning, felt strong to stay steady in the scorching heat, felt responsible while talking to doctors, staffs etc on the way( as both of my friends were malayali kuttys), felt the pain of being ravenous till the sunset, felt vitalized after drinking water after 360 minutes, felt light after returning to the hostel, felt satisfied and happy after I hopped on to my bed....so many feelings in one day! It was phenomenal... It was like a picture for me! This day will be remembered in the attics of my brain and will always remain fresh to read!😇
Anyway, hope you guys thoroughly enjoyed reading this!I'll be happy to see some cool comments below...... These inspire me to write and share more and more... ✨🙌
Thank you!
