The Uni-days! 1

Hello everyone!

Hope you all are fine and healthy...

As I've mentioned earlier, that I'm doing my masters in another state's University,I want to share the situations outside the uni. Padthe jaao...

The location of agricultural universities is that they are usually situated in the outskirts of the cities and hence, the same applies to my uni. I'm a kind of a person who lovess to travel... With it comes a habit of visiting places which give peace and satisfy my soul. One such places is around 15 kilometres far from my uni. Going there is unlike my habit of messaging my dad that I'm traveling with an emoji😎, booking metro tickets on phone pay, staring my phone to avoid human stares, plugging in earphones, listening to vintage songs and correcting my shrutis with an online tanpura till the stop comes and getting down when the metro says "Agla station NGRI"... It's the extreme opposite!

It starts with an entry in the hostel register as to when and where are we going, walk a kilometre to the main road. Ikkada start aithundi inka 70mm cinema, transport kosam! When I was in hyderabad, I'd always make a fuss about the ola or uber cabs not booking. Now I've got immense respect for the ola, uber and rapido bhaiyyas after seeing the situation here. The struggle to transport myself from one place to other is legit real!! My mom would always urge me to use public transport so that I could understand how the society runs at the grass roots.... But hum tho ham hein! I've barely done that. Booking a cab and paying through gpay... Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Now I wish I had "Doraemon's anywhere door" .... Travelling has become such a looong process! My mom's probably very happy seeing her pampered kid going amidst people, actually many people and understanding the society!Staring at your mobiles, sitting in a busy auto to avoid human conversations doesn't work here!!! You'll have to answer questions about your nativity, reason of being there, unnecessary conversations etc etc (being a new comer and a girl is tough bro!). I however escape and my saviour Snehal handles them as a noob Marathi speaker.

But yeah, all these difficulties will just vanish in a jiffy when I reach the destination.... And as I said, the soul satisfies to the fullest. Whatever we do in our lives, the ultimate thing is to satisfy with it right? Be it with our education, talent, believes or any work which we do.... satisfaction is what should yield at the end...kada? (opinions differ if you and I think differently🤷‍♀️)

Okayy, I wanted to flaunt something 😂 So,Snehal,I and Rashmi were walking through the silent college corridor, definitely talking to each other above 60 decibels about the ornamental plants on both the sides. A person walking in front of us, certainly heard us, looked back... We quickly became silent and walked ahead. Then sir stopped us and asked "how did you'll differentiate between a peace lily and anthurium?" (We were talking about these two plants and their families) We answered politely.... Then sir turned to the right and asked to name the plant beside him.We, at lower decibels uttered "Ixora"...Sir questioned again "Ixora what!?" Then we answered 'Ixora parviflora'. Sir asked about the universities which we've come from and said "Very good ! The students from other universities wouldn't answer them"(This is what sir told okay! I'm not making up anything) He also told that he was a retired professor in horticulture! These kinda little appreciations give us the boost to become better everyday.

I always had a feeling that people from Maharashtra are innately more ethical from the rest... This might be because of the great saints, temples hailing from this place and people having that bhakti within. Again again, I said this in comparison with the rest. Soo, the other unliked side is prevalent here too. I really loved how women here have beautiful nose rings (Seeing my longing towards them, my roommate promised me that she'll get me one when we go to Kolhapur temple😎...yayyyy!!) Arey listen,I mean read... I was flabbergasted when I saw two girls riding passion pro bikes wearing a salwar kameez!! They casually put in the keys, kicked, started the bike and went on it... Dude, I was awestruck!! (Inkokati, ikkada bullet bikes milk supply ki vaadutunaru telsaa😂) Bullet bikes in Hyderabad have a great image. If any boy has a bullet there, he feels like a hero and rides it with sunglasses, leather jacket and full of pride. I've seen chota bachas to badè uncles riding bullets to supply milk here with milk cans tied on both sides.. Lol😂! All the uncles here wear white...Literally everyone! Whenever I come here from Hyderabad, I'll understand that I've entered this state seeing these white dhotis, shirts and caps 😅

I'm again happy that I've taken your valuable 10 minutes time to read this blog and you're satisfied with it! The comment section is open for you guys to share something you feel about the blogs...I'll come up with another post soon because there's sooo much to write and share! Until then, intezaar karo.

Stay happy, Stay healthy

Sharwani.
