The Uni days -09

Greetings folks! Hope you all are keeping well  I don't know if my readers are stargazing enthusiasts, but the author certainly is. If you are too, then I'd like to flaunt how beautiful the night skies from my hostel look. Now you might say, "Sharwani... skies are the same everywhere"...I partially agree because, the sky here is clearer and the amount of visibility from the naked eye is greater. It's always like a colorful pallete with different hues, concentrated at the top and smudging as we look down to the horizon. In this beautiful looking multichromatic canvas, there are monochromatic frames of black birds flying; white stars glittering, which makes it a beautiful picturesque; The moon selflessly showering her silvery sparkle on everyone talking to their families on the terrace.  Nature depicting it's perfect inelasticity towards people of all castes, creeds, races, irrespective of the cranial capacities,IQ levels, riches, status, not making anyone feel dumb o...

The Uni days-08

Hello fellow readers! How are you all? Hope you all are doing fine.  The entire day's schedule certainly depends on the time we wake up.I feel being an early riser somehow kickstarts a productive day...what do you guys say?  A peaceful morning walk amidst the lush green heavy trees, the melodious birds chirping,  the slowly rising energizing surya, an off-white ceramic bowl full of organic fruits for breakfast besides a transparent glass full of fresh orange juice, relishing these on a bamboo swing.Isn't that a fantasizing ideal morning? Feels so. If you ask me how are days swiftly going on, somedays it's like being the female protagonist in a Shekhar Kammula's film.... pairing a nice chikankari suit with denims, all decked up, flipping hair in the direction of the fan's wind, accessorising with favorite watches, getting ready with Mohit Chauhan's 'masakali' playing in the background, going to college and feeling all excited and enthusiastic.  And other d...

The Uni days-07

Howdy folks? Hope you're all doing good. I've just come to my room through the corridor of my Uni hostel which means....at least 5 non-telugoos exchanging the noob telugu phrases taught by me and me replying in the local language taught by them! Seems fun? It obviously is! One thing that I've learnt spending an year in my new uni is that observational learning happens involuntarily too... it's because the alpha female protagonist referring to... may be...Geet from Jab we met, has substantially transformed to Spandana from Racegurram😂 Let me start the blog by sharing a really cringey experience which I've had which would obviously, for sure, make you'll laugh... chalo atleast would make you'll smile yaaar! As people around don't understand telugu in my Uni, Snehal and I have become 'extremely' outspoken. Once we've gone to a pretty big shop nearby to shop something. It happened that the bhaiyya who was showing us things was way too sluggish.A...

The Uni days -06

Hello readers! Writing after days..pardon me! months feels fresh. Just like a noob essay writer picking works and empathising the situation and explaining...or lemme give an exact example...just like me,a juvenile adult trying to get into the gen-z lingo lol! But this lag took me through an emotional rollercoaster having angles greater than the booms and busts of the capitalist economies. But what carries weight is the phase of trying to understand the new situations which are ought to happen in everyone's lives, stabilizing the wobbling white matter, manifesting the greatest boon of witness and eliminating the bane of the futile thought marathon which creates distress.Everyone goes through it at certain phases of life for sure I suppose. This "it" encompasses many aspects may be peer pressures, loosing beloved ones, career breakdowns, growing distances between friends,an inclining trend of foes, unveiling masked faces of dear ones and more...I can't think of more guys(t...

Parts from my anthology-1

My haste led to stumbling upon something and starring upon one thing... The mascara filled eyes with an intense gaze, A person of 5" with a beautiful face; A small circle of vermilion between the brows, Looking at her, my eyebrows rose; The immaculate symmetry in her face, Was impeccable as seen through this glassy haze; Her lips drifted apart as a reflex to mine, Making me turn abruptly opposite to her shine; As my eyes blinked, so did hers, She was indeed a 'Sherni' who roars! Her looks penetrated deep through me, Like an antivirus debugging me, free; Felt like someone who knew me since ages, My ups-lows, likes-dislikes, aims-aspirations, failures-guilts and many, written in her pages; Her right hand rose to pat my shoulder; Lateral inversion made my other hand greet her; That much-wanted gesture made a water drop drop from my right eye, The inversion aside, empathy and Shakti filled her right eye; I wish the moment froze for another minute, Until my friend interrupted...

The Uni days- 05

Hello readers! Hope all of you are smiling, studying and slaying! As in the saying, time is passing and making me acclimatize to all the situations in this not-so-new environment. Thanks to the blossoming friendships, kinda ideal cordiality to the ones who are actually supporting😇(Telling it directly is ajeeb na) My best friend has got an incredible job recently. He(Srikanth), Snehal and I are very very good friends right from our undergrad days.I've put forth my demands of taking me to "The Arijith Singh's concert" with a VIP booking, sponsoring a solo trip to Ladakh, taking us to the live sufis and qawwalis in 'The Falaknuma' etc etc.. Let's see what happens😅 Then... Music classes are too good man! I'm just amazed at how the kindergarten looking bache are quintessentially talented. The doe-eyed girls had sweet sureel voices and the boys playing tabla were bang on! While returning from the class, one of the girl's parents turned out to be a profe...

The Uni-days series-4

Hello fellow readers! How are you doing? The heat at my place is scorching guys! 🥵 If a graph is plotted against days and degrees, it'll be exponentially increasing, going very far from the axes undoubtedly!  Hence, I'm writing this under the shade of a huge olive green tree beside the grey library with subtle cool breezes blow drying my brown hair, and the ombre leaves shedding all over me with a slower pace, making it a pure pink cinematic moment. I've been meeting, greeting and interacting to many people in the uni lately, and I've found few friends till now who are always there in understanding and helping me in every aspect,Touch wood! Craving for good South Indian food is very normal for a person no matter from where he dwells in India(Agreed?) Snehal and I took a bus to the nearest place in the quest of quenching this longing. It wasn't a bus though, as my Bengali jiju says, it was indeed a "red monster" with the driver uncle assuming himself to be ...

It's HER day!

Hello fellow readers! Hope all of you are doing well . I guess patriarchy has started from the Vedic era and the graph has been increasing steadily from then. The advantages of a patriarchal society are definitely over shadowed by its negative side.Right from my teens, I've always been inclined towards the idea of actual feminism. Because in this modern society, both, patriarchal mindsets and patriarchal people have no place. How beautiful is the idea of women empowerment. How beautiful is the term "Womenism" (I don't know if this word exists, but it just feels nice to use it)  I've constantly been contemplating about publishing a good post today and here it goes .... Sometimes I wonder, How her meek personality surprisingly transforms into a virago? How her kajal-filled eyes show a wide range of spontaneous emotions? How is she quick-witty in modulating her tone accordingly and resolving calmly? How her smile turns hurdles into happinesses? How her watch and ...

The Uni-days series-3

Hi guys! How are you!? Hope you're happy and healthy! Meri khwahish ko bhagwaan ne suna hi nahi... There's no icar student in my department in the entire university!!!!! There was one itseems, who took the admission and cancelled later...Ala undi mari mana paristhiti, parledu le! Anyway, an impromptu blog again... Lately I've been going to the library to study (an axiom for success followed by most of the students here, so yeah! adopted or may be adopting it) First impressions first! I don't know what made me feel like that but I didn't like it (the opened newspaper edges aligned at 30° to the table at the entry was constantly bugging me....I felt like immediately going there, putting it right and parallel to the table lol! People who relate to seeing things perfectly placed would know) and I was constantly whinging about it to my roommates. I went inside to have a quick tour but again, my UG library was fab though small. This was again,an obvious prejudice from my si...

The Uni-days series-2

Hello fellow readers! Hope you all are happy and healthy! To begin with,I'm actually glad that my pace of writing and posting blogs is gearing up! I'm hoping that you guys are also happy to get to read these kinda entertaining blogs (If you aren't, we aren't friends bro! Drumrolls!! Jk😂) Keep reading... Freshers party is a common thing in any institution right. Same with my Uni too. I'm going to tell you, what uncommon happened here and how I really enjoyed it. (If my fellow batchmates are reading this, they'll be really surprised with me liking it because I didn't understand a single sentence properly 😅)Anyway, all the students here have an association...a proper association for making an extremely constructive study time table, following it with all the dedication, giving competitive exams and subsequently grabbing the white collar jobs. I'll take a minute to tell how punctual they are.I guess the primary rule is to transform yourself into an early r...

The Uni-days! 1

Hello everyone! Hope you all are fine and healthy... As I've mentioned earlier, that I'm doing my masters in another state's University,I want to share the situations outside the uni. Padthe jaao... The location of agricultural universities is that they are usually situated in the outskirts of the cities and hence, the same applies to my uni. I'm a kind of a person who lovess to travel... With it comes  a habit of visiting places which give peace and satisfy my soul. One such places is around 15 kilometres far from my uni. Going there is unlike my habit of messaging my dad that I'm traveling with an emoji😎, booking metro tickets on phone pay, staring my phone to avoid human stares, plugging in earphones, listening to vintage songs and correcting my shrutis with an online tanpura till the stop comes and getting down when the metro says "Agla station NGRI"... It's the extreme opposite!  It starts with an entry in the hostel register as to when and where...

College blog - 08

Hi guys! Hope you all are doing well! It's not been a very long time that a fresh blog has come out... Right? Right! 😂 I think I should officially declare that this blog comes out quarterly...jk! To begin with, I've graduated in June with decent grades and got admission for my masters in a pretty good University...(Clap for me!)To add on, one of my closest friends in college also got admission in the same University....  A minute here... you guys know that my UG friends were the greatest supporters in everything! News is that three of us have gotten into nice universities and one guy is yet to give his exam (we're sure that he'll do well!!)  Now back to the present, Snehal and I came to the University. First opinions first! The campus was lush-green, serene with majestic giant green deciduous trees forming a beautiful canopy along the uni roads with leaves shedding occasionally adding an earthy ochre in the nature's palette. Cats wandering and birds chirping all ar...

College blog 07

Hi guys! Kaise ho? Okay... I haven't been very consistent in writing blogs, but I've been very consistent in filming and enjoying the past few months. So basically, the last 6 months were the 'last 6 months' in my undergrad, and hence I really didn't have proper time to sit down, open my page, and write (I'm seriously not kidding). This blog might neither have a proper beginning nor an end, but I'm sure you'll definitely 'feel' what I'm feeling. To begin with, our ELP started in college (HELP-Horticultural Experiential Learning Programme) from December'22 to May'23. On one side, it's basically our last sem with no classes, no exams, but only practical field work of growing particular crops given to us and observing everything about them, right from field preparation, sowing, manuring, spraying, observing pests and diseases, harvesting, post- harvest, marketing, sale, etc. And on the brighter end, these were the best days in colleg...

College post-06

Hello fellow readers! Hope you all are keeping well! I know it's been ages that a new post was out.... I'll blame it on the 10 kilo records which we were made to write at the end of our rural training programme, which obviously drived me nuts! I'll just share few random things which happened in these 6 long months of no new posts. It's gonna be a screed I know! On one side we were sad that our Rhwep was coming to an end, which means no staying together with friends, no Gorden Ramsay cooking shows, no Ariana Grande concerts, no Khatron ke khiladi stunts in the room, obviously no KBC to win (tmi: questions of pathology, entomology, soil science, economics etc etc etc) ....ah! these were the best 3 months in my college life so far. Speaking of the other end, after costing me an arm and a leg...my bank balance declining to a two digit figure during rhwep, I can now finally go home and transform into a parasite on my hosts at home (Mean na? You also did that...go rewind!) Th...

Hello guys! Hope you all are doing good! In this post,I just want to share and reminisce the satisfying experiences which I've had in the last few days of my Rhwep training. During the first days of this learning programme, the guava trees in our research station were all pruned and we barely had colours to see.... But now, it feels very relaxing to see the new colourful blossom, the rain drops finding their way on the leaflets and giving out petrichor , peahens dancing in the wet weather in the tunes of barso re megha megha (lol!) It's a completely new feeling of being trained under professional scientists (They were sooo knowledgeable...we felt like we knew nothing😅) This phase is like a bridge for adulting.... Right from sharing room rents with 3 of my fellow comrades to cutting down extravagances, saving power, cooking on our own, deciding on the day's menu, planning to exercise and failing everyday😂,making funny videos together, sharing clothes and accessories, bargain...
